Terms of Service - EcoOnline LMS

Welcome to EcoOnline LMS. By registering and using our services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Registration: Only individuals may create accounts. You must provide accurate and complete information.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activities on your account.
Misuse: Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use or security breaches.

Permitted Use: The service is for personal and non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prohibited Use: You agree not to:
- Transmit harmful software or viruses.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Use the service in a way that may harm or overload our infrastructure.

Payment: Payments must be made in advance via credit card or invoice.
Subscription: The minimum subscription period is 12 months. No refunds or cancellations are allowed during this period.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless terminated within the agreed notice period.

Upgrades can be made at any time, while downgrades are only allowed at the start of a new subscription period.
Downgrades may result in loss of functionality or access for users.

User-Generated Content: You retain rights to the content you upload but grant us a non-exclusive license to use it in connection with the service.
Prohibited Content: Uploading illegal, offensive, or rights-infringing content is prohibited.

Users retain ownership of their content. EcoOnline LMS owns the software, design, and infrastructure of the service.
We may use your company name and logo in marketing materials in compliance with GDPR.

Ownership: We own all rights to the service, including software, design, and trademarks.
Limited License: You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the service under these terms.

Data Handling: We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable laws.

Service Content: We may update the service content without notice.
Price Changes: Any price changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance.

Termination by Customer: Customers may terminate their subscription in writing before the end of the current subscription period. Termination will take effect at the end of the subscription period.
Termination for Breach: EcoOnline LMS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service immediately for violations of these terms, including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized access attempts to systems or data.
- Transmission of harmful software or viruses.
- Failure to meet payment obligations.
- Infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights.
Consequences of Termination: Upon termination, the customer loses immediate access to the service, including all content stored in the service. Customers are responsible for downloading necessary content before termination.
No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for prepaid amounts if access is terminated due to a breach of terms.

No Warranties: The service is provided "as is" without any warranties.
Limited Liability: We are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or other losses arising from the use of the service.

Updates: We reserve the right to modify these terms. Significant changes will be notified in advance.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by Norwegian law.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, disputes will be brought before the ordinary courts where EcoOnline LMS has its Norwegian headquarters, unless otherwise agreed.
